IDC Business Intelligence Roadshow 2008
Climbing the BI Ladder

Conference

Date:
September 30, 2008
Location: Kiev, Ukraine
Venue: Hotel Rus

According to IDC, in the next five years the Ukrainian BI market is forecasted to expand at about 30% annually. Such impressive growth can be attributed to the fact that many large Ukraine companies have already implemented ERP systems and are entering the next stage in automating their business processes. In today’s global economy, business intelligence is turning into a must-have instrument of sustaining companies’ competitiveness. Complying with international industry standards and regulations is becoming increasingly important for Ukraine companies, as more and more of them enter the international marketplace. The growing interest towards BI technologies from medium businesses is also playing an important role.

The demand for BI is growing as more managers begin to understand the advantages of having tools at hand to facilitate decision making. BI systems support CPM processes by providing timely analysis of planned vs. actual and identifying problem areas in business.

What are the latest technological achievements in business intelligence? How to ensure that your data is aligned, accurate and up-to-date? How to satisfy the growing needs of business users? How to make BI work at full throttle?

This year the conference will be focused on the opportunities offered by BI for better decision making.

International BI expert Shaku Atre will make her first Kyiv appearance at the event.

Shaku Atre,
Widely recognized as the BI Guru, Shaku Atre is the author of the award-winning Data Base: Structured Techniques for Design, Performance and Management and Business Intelligence Roadmap - The Complete Project Lifecycle for Decision Support Applications.
