This study discusses the market for electronic printers, SF copiers, and MFPs (except small 10 x 15 and wide-format devices) used with all levels of computer systems. They assess the strengths and weaknesses of the top vendors and assemble vendor rankings by technology, type, and price band. The forecast contains data for the hardcopy peripherals markets from 2008 through 2012. Unit shipments, value of shipments, and average selling value information are presented. Data for 2006-2007 is actual, whereas data for 2008-2012 is projected. These studies do not cover point-of-sale printers, small-format printers with widths of less than 8in., or wide-format products (A0/plotters).
