IDC Looking for Developers to Join WW Team
IDC is pleased to announce that it is expanding our worldwide database development and software team. As Central and Eastern Europe's leading IT and communications market research, events, and consulting firm, we regularly work with global, regional, and national ICT vendors and solutions providers, helping them refine their strategies, connect with customers, and increase their sales.
To meet the growing internal demand for research and operational tools, over the past months we have hired number of application development specialists and programmers. We were particularly interested in JAVA programmers with Oracle experience, and straight JAVA programmers. Developers now work on a range of projects dedicated to facilitating international ICT market research and company business processes. The hiring process still continues.
The new positions are located in the Prague Development Center, that was open in October 2007 and Ostrava Development Center, that was expanded in November 2008. Further expansion is planned within this location in Czech Republic. The center manager answers directly to IDC's CIO in the home office in the United States. Prague and Ostrava location in Czech Republic were chosen as the expansion site because its central location makes it readily accessible, it has well-developed IT and communications infrastructure, and it is the current headquarters for the CEMA region.
